Happy New Year and Happy Friday!
As you can see, things have changed around here! I have officially re-branded and will now sharing my Musings on Motherhood, here. I am SO excited about this change, and it is a great way to kick of 2019. Something I want to start, is a weekly round up of my favorite things. These things may be products, recipes, events, mom-hacks or even other bloggers. Just things that I have found that make me happy or make my life a little easier. So here is my first ever Friday Favs!
My New Blog!!
I couldn’t do my first ever list of favorites, without including my new site and the amazing designer that helped me put it together! I love everything about it, and Christina has helped me get every detail just perfect. If you are looking for a web designer, to move your website or anything like that, you have to hire her! She’s has the cutest blog as well!
from Celestial Seasonings. This tea is so yummy! I don’t drink coffee, but I do like a warm drink on winter mornings and this hits the spot. In the summer, I like over ice. I actually brew it to be stored in the fridge, for a couple of reasons. I can drink it iced if I want (or warm up) and I like the flavor more on the strong side. It only takes a few minutes to brew enough for the week. Its herbal and caffeine free and extra good with a splash of sweet cream. If you like Chai, you will especially love it, as it has some of the same flavors.
I *finally* finished this devotional! I started it this summer, so it did take me more than 100 days, but even missing days the messages were still affirming and applicable. Its one I definitely suggest adding to your list, and I know I’ll be going back to the pages and passages I have marked. Also, if you aren’t following Annie on Instagram, you should! Her posts there are so refreshing
I have previously shared that I used guided meditation to help manage my anxiety, its huge for me. I recent discovered this app and have been loving it. I mainly use it to get ready to fall asleep, but yesterday I used it to meditate after a workout and it was the perfect way to wrap that time up. It is a monthly subscription, but there are a few free meditations you can use, so you can try before you buy.
These ponytail holders have changed the game for me! The hold all my hair, don’t crease, and don’t pull. As a frequent mom bun wearer, I really like being able to pull down and restyle my hair without having to put heat on it. Plus, they don’t cut the circulation off if I wear one on my wrist. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to traditional elastics!
You have to try these things and let me know what you think! What are your current favorites?
